Transcript | To George Gordon, Newry 20 January 1757 Sir: We wrote you the 24th November to which please be refered. Inclosed you have Invoice & Bill of Lading for Twenty Hogsheads of Flaxseed shiped in the Waddell, Charles Stewart Master, amounting £50.12.7, at 821/2: per Cent Exchange is £27.14.10 Brinish Sterling, for which lm we have this day drawn on you favour of Thomas Greg, payable in London at Forty days sight, which we doubt not you'l pay due honour to. We heartily wish the Seed may arrive safe & give content, which will give us particular pleasure to hear, & to be often favoured with your commands, which depend on our observing with A due regard to your Interest. per Capt.
