Gentlemen:

Our last was the 24th past to which please be refered.
You have now enclosed Invoice & Bill of Lading for Two Hundred
Hogsheads of Flaxseed amounting to £506.12.[0] shiped in the Waddell,
Charles Stewart Master, which at 821/2 per Cent Exchange, makes
£277.il.8, for which sum we have this day drawn for at forty days
sight on Messrs. George & James Portis of London, which we doubt not
will meet due honour.
It will give us great pleasure to hear that the Flaxseed proves good
& gives content. We are heartily sorry what we ship from this goes so
much higher then from Philadelphia this Season. We hope you'l find
what we ship as cheap & as good as any from this place. When its in our power to serve you here, be assured we shall leave
nothing undone for your Interest. G&C
