Transcript | To James Getty & Co., Belfast 20 January 1757 Gentlemen: We are favoured with yours of the 30th September & 4th October & observe the contents. We have the pleasure to inform you the Snow Hawk, Captain Willson, arrived here safe this morning & had a very narrow escape from the See. She has received considerable damage, which we shall cause Captain Wilson to do me need full about & have her repaired with all expedition. You may depend we shall make the most of the Interest you are pleased lo put under our care. The annexed prices is what we expect they will bring. We are much affraid your Vessel wont get a full freight of Flaxseed. We are of opinion wheat will be sold for 3/9 to 4s per Bushel in April & May. It now sells at 4/3 per Bushel when most of the Rivers are Froze up. You may rest assured that nothing shall be left undone chat may appear to us for your Interest.
