| Transcript | Bonemain May? 12 --1800 Dear Bob, if thes comes to your hands they will serve to inform you that I am in good health thanks be to God for all his Mercys to me, hoping these few lines will find you and my brothers William and Andrew Enjoying the like Blessing-- We recd no letter from you since January 98, Which time we Got an account of your melting with your Brothers---- Flax seed sold from £4--11 to £5--2s By the hogshead there being a great demand for it on account of no seed from Holland nor Riga being imported last year [.] Flax sell very well and the cloth and yarn Bisness Good and Verry Brisk But the Bearer of this letter Mr William Lata can inform you the particulars much Better than I can write [.] he has sold his property and is going to [word illeg.] Back to Mr Rankin[.] Your Father is much failed But has his health midling well [.] Brother John sister Jane Moses Scott and Rebecca are all Well -- Old William is no more, he was sensable at his last and I lamented you all Being at such Distance from him [.] Your Uncles and Ants and familys are all in Good health and Desire to be remembred to you [.] As no more at present I wishes you all helth and happiness Wilest I remain your loving and Affectionat Brother--- Joseph McArthur Robart McArthur For Mr Robart McArthur // to the care of Collonal McClean // Union town // America |
