Transcript | New York 7th mo 12th 1819 Dear William Enclosed I hand you a letter for Hannah White, which please give her. The object is to know if she can come here in two or three weeks, or sooner, if convenient. We are about to begin house keeping I & shall have occassion for her. From the difficulty of getting settled here I could not send for her sooner, or in fact, be of that use to her that I would wish, as she was put under my care on coming to this country. If she cannot write me an answer, perhaps thou would do it for her. Please let me hear any little particulars about her - I mean about her conduct and demenior. I should like to hear of her propriety in all respects very much. With my love to Anne, I am Thine affectionately Thomas Nicholson. |
