Dear Uncle
Just a short line to let you know how things are at home in England – We are going on
fairly well but of course we wish things were a bit better, but of course it’s the same in every
Town in England all Grumbling at high prices where ever we go Well Uncle I believe I made a
little mistake in the last letter of putting in the question of Aunt Clara to Cousin Tom & Sister to Uncle William you must excuse me I must realy tell you that there’s only cousin Edward &
myself at home now which is Harold who is writing this letter to you, we’ve not seen any of
thee other part of the family since Mother died that’s over year ago, you might Tell Uncle
William I am sending a memorial card of his Sister Clara and we wish to be Remembered to
Uncle William also the family how is the children getting on I expect Roy is getting quite a big
Boy I was looking at his photos which you sent some time ago taken with his Grandma he looks a fine lad, we hope you are all keeping in good Health also Cousin Tom and yourself I think this is all for this [journey] hoping to hear From you soon
