Dear Brother
Received a letter
from you a few days ago I
see you were expecting a
letter. Well I wrote to you
some time ago and you should
have had it by that time.
However I have made
up my mind to write a
little oftener from this
We are all well here
now. I was down in Landahussey
[Landahussy?] this last week I
let Liza home for a while
John has left trade mark
on the house. You would
scarcely know it now. It is
much better and warmer than

[Page 2]
it was.
I suppose you saw an account
of the marriage of Lizzie Campbell
and Joe Duncan in the Constitution.
They were married at nine o'clock
in the morning. Everybody was
preparing to go to see them
married about twelve but
they were all fooled. John C.
[Charles?] [was?] down and gave
them a few shots. There were [sic]
nobody at it but Minnie Duncan and
Bob Campbell. [Patchell?] and wife
and the Minster and wife were in to
see them married. They went to Belfast
for a few days. I suppose you saw
account of the Bazaar in the paper.
They had £80 altogether out of it so
it was not bad I’m sending
some off the pictures we got

She is afraid that she wont pass [with?]

[two?] year [sic] they will [be?] out
some money with her. Maggie was to come
over to Landahussey [Landahussy?] Sunday
last but it was so wet she did not get
over They have the Drumlea school teacher
boarding with them now. Liza was
over a few days a short time ago

get enough money gathered up to get
her fixed so that I cant get out much.
