Transcript | [Letter 2] [Page 1] Castledamph September 1st 1892 Dear Brother I intend writing you a few lines to let you know how we are all doing father and mother went to the shore on Tuesday they went by Strabane and then took the train to derry and on to the downhill we have got a letter from them today and they have very rough weather there too so stormy that they had not took [sic] a bathe when they wrote they told us that if it would not settle they would come home again Tuesday I suppose mother will see wonders this time for she was saying before she left that she never was in a train [Page 2] They have got their pictures taken at derry so I think it is almost time since you wanted them they were for going to Omagh to get then took [sic] and then they took a notion that they wold [would?] get them better done in derry and the one journey would do we will send them as soon as possible Dada had this letter wrote before he went away and he allowed me to finish it and tell you that they went away at the shore, Andrews [Andrew?] McKelveys ones was [sic] at derry coming from the shore when the [they?] went that length and John Huston [Houston?] they say that there are [sic] nobody at it but themselves now No more this time Bella M [Margaret?] Smyth |
