Castledamph March 23rd 1893

Dear James -
We do not know what to say but we would not
advise you go in for a Doctor or Physician
as it would take to [too?] much money and so
very long time to learn it and perhaps not come
out wright [right?] at the end as for other
trades we could not know what till advise you
to do as the contry [country?] is Different
from this one. But one thing we would advise Be
steady and not rush into anything to you know
all about it - the old proverb look well before
you leap The conefinement [confinement?] I am
shure [sure?] would not do well either so its
hard to know what to Say or to do - one thing
take good care of yourself and take care of your
money for I think the [there?] are none of it
got for the lifting there I hope you and uncle
or none of them had any words or any Difference
when you left - how is it that he is paying
so much to his Man Now - Bella wrote to Annie
last week / how are you dowing [doing?] for
your washing and dowing [doing?] up your shirts
and what are you paying for your Board - The
fiddle is I supose [suppose?] a good one give us
all the particulars
