A good many people will be
glad at them going away.
She is getting a school at
Castlefin Co Donegal. They are
not content with the way they are
treated with the people and
Minister of this Locality. It
seems they were [sic] somebody to
carry stories to Mr. Steen, so It has
caused a great deal of trouble.
every body [everybody?] seemed to be
offended because they came to our house
and to Gilkison’s [Gilkinsons] and went
to no other house no body [nobody?] knew
that they were going away till [until?]
it appeared in the Whig That
there was a Male Teacher wanted
for Eden National School It

of the honney-moon [honeymoon?] by leaping the

fine sport this winter they [there?] are
plenty of rabbits and I think I
will be able to shut [shoot?] a good

[Page 8]
They [There?] were seven or eight partridges
on Roberts Hill one day I fired
two shots at them, I think I killed
one, It fell in about Moses Ballantines

I thought I could not shoot them so I let
them go by. I think I will get a
