My Dear Nephew
Just a few lines to let you
know that we are all very well
thanks be to God for his
many mercies to us all I hope
you will excuse us for not
writing sooner some how [somehow?]
I leave off from day to day
I was over in Castledamph on
Thursday last and the [they?] are
all very well we have nice
frosty dry weather here now
John Charles is getting on very
well only he likes to take a

day now and then after
Rabbits I hope you are getting
on well at your study
it may be a bit close but
we cannot get everything
we would like on [in?] this
wourld [world?] Well I have made
a purchase of a farm of
land however it will do
out in Culvahillion [Culvacullion?] about
one mile from the town
it cost £150 pounds or will
as I have not the money

all paid yet the rent
is £4 4s 6d for 20 acres.
