Transcript | Strand London 27 October 1854 My Lord, We have received the favor [favour?] of your Lordships Letter of the 24 Inst [Instant?], and we shall have pleasure in making the payment of œ500 to the Marmora Iron Work Company, Canada, with Miss Overend & Compy [Company?], as you wish. As however we are thus placed in advance on your account about œ180, we have thought it right to mention the circumstance, in case your Lordship may wish to give your agent any instructions on the subject.
