| Transcript | June 1929 26D Andrew Lowry, Esq, Argrey, Ballindrait, Strabane Co. Donegal Ireland. Dear Uncle I received your kind and ever welcome letter some time ago and I replied but I sent it to the Post with my little sister and the Post Master just put a three cent stamp on it so I did not know whether you could get it or not I got a letter from Aunt Margret She is pretty poorly. She sent mother her photo and Susan sent on hers I sent and my sister sent for our picture last Saturday as I will send Andrew one as soon as they are finished. Uncle Kirk was here last Saturday they are all well but - Granny is not very well and Grandfather is [feeling?] pretty well, Aunt Jane is pretty well. I suppose you seen the account of Sir Jas [James?] A. McDonald's death I send you his [---?] in a newspaper I am pretty [----?] with my [-----?] every thing is pretty dull here just at present every thing is [scorched?] up we have had no rain worth speaking of since April we have had showers but we should be thankful for what we get. My Second brother got married on the 27th May his wifes name was Parson. They had quite a large wedding something over 80 present Father is at Uncle Kirks just now helping him to move and over haul the farm Ellen is at home just now. Willie and his family are all well Susan Stewart is thinking of coming to Canada she says she will come to be my bridesmaid when I am married but I am afraid if she dont come before that we will not see her very soon. My sister would like to have me of Andrew's [--------?] Tell Andrew I would like to hear from him splendid Aunt Anne is very poorly and is [feeling?] very [----?]. I don't expect she will be with us very long.
