Dear Sir, I take up my penn [pen?] to write
These few Lines to you hoping to find you
and Mrs Greer and all the family in good
Health as this leaves me in at present
Thank god for his mercies -
Dear Sir I am glad to inform you
That I had a favourable Passage of Six
Weeks and arived [arrived?] Safe in New York and
Was fortunate Enough to find my two Brothers
on the Same day I arived [arrived?] and the [they?] ware [were?]
Happy in meeting me in this Country
and and the [they?] are Both in good health and
I find Pleasure in their Company and moreso
as I have got a Situation in the
Foundry with my Brother John to Learn
The Steamboat Boiler making - Dear Sir
I wish to Be remembered to my old Mrs
and all the Family hoping that the [they?] are
all in good health Since I left that Country
Dear Sir, I am glad to inform you that
Mary Duffin has found a Situation in the
Same house with my aunt Elizabeth and
Finds her Self [herself?] very Comfortable and Receives 7 $
Per month, and She Sends her Kind Love to
You and all the Family
Dear Sir I have Little
more to Say But If you write Direct your
Letter to J, P, allairs office No, 464 -
