Transcript | Mr. George Graham Dunronan Daperstown [Draperstown?] Post office Londondery [Londonderry?]. Ireland March the 24th 1848 Dear George I Received your Letter, and am Sorry that I. delayed answering it So long I acknowledge my obligations to you already and at the Same time I hope you will make every exertion as you have done here tofore, and See Frances ---lt with Respect to the money that I Left in his hands as I Conseder [Consider?] there was enough, to diffrey the expense of my Father and mothers funerals, with out [without?] expending [faded] of the money I Left, at the Same time I wish you to understand me that it is my [?] wish that all my fathers, depts [debts?] Should be paid [faded] it took every Cent, of the money I thank God that, we are all well, and hope you and all my friends are the Same when you Receive this Letter. you will present, my best Respets [Respects?], to, Patrick Conway, and Francis McGurk, and I hope and expect, from their former friendship that the [they?] will Send on the Ballance [Balance?] of the money as soon as possible, and I hope that, Francis ----- will Send his part as Soon as he Can Spare it it is not my wish to force him or any other poor man, if thier [their?] abilitys [abilities?] do not afford it yet I expect as Soon as he Can make it Convenent [Convenient?] that he will Send it to me, I would wish you to See patrick McBride and mention to him that I would wish he would Send me the money that he owes, and when you answer this Letter you will please Let me Know what he Says about it. Dear George I hope you will Send me the Bundle that Remains in your house with the first friend that Leaves that place and I will be willing to Return the Compliment to them when the [they?] arrive here, I wish Mrs Peter Kelley woul [would?] give the makeing [making?] of the dress that I Sent to my mother, to Cozen [Cousin?] Nancy McGurk. My Sister Cathrine also hopes that Patrick Morin would Give the wash Board that he has, that She Sent with him and intended to be given to my mother, to Mrs John Graham, I fully Regret, the trouble that occored [occurred?] to my uncle Francis McGurk, with Respect, to the death of Cozen [Cousin?] #PAGE 2 Mary & husband, Francis & Nancy are both well Nancy is in a Good Situation, and erns [earns?] 5 Shillings a week, and Comes to See us every Sunday I will now Conclude by acknowing [acknowledging?] my Sincere thanks to you for your past favours and hopes you will Remember me to all inquiring friends when you write Direct your Letter to No 25 Hubble Street near Cathrine Street my Sister Joins me in Returning you and your Mrs our heart felt Gratitude for the attention you and her paid to my father and mother previous to their deaths yours with Respect, Bridget Doyle P. S. I have not herd [heard?] any amount from Young George but Expects an account when Mr John hagan Comes to town I will worte [write?] to you when ever [whenever?] I hear from him. Yours &tc B. D.
