LAW OFFICES JOHNSTON ARMSTRONG LIVERPOOL AND LONDON AND GLOBE BUILDING NEW ORLEANS Nov. 26, 1910. Mr. Gustave Lemle, City. Dear Sir: We beg to confirm our conversation of to-day, namely, that we will obtain an extension of the Banks Realty Company note of $41,000.00, secured by mortgage on Sections 24 and 25, Township 12, S.R. 12 E., in the City of New Orleans, for one year from its present maturity. It must be distinctly understood, however, that the note must be paid at the maturity of the extension, or foreclosure proceedings will be instituted. Secondly. If Mrs. Smythe will, on or before January 10 1911, take up the mortgage note of $41,000.00, with interest, and will pay to us the further sum of $3,000.00, we will relinquish all of our interest in and to Sections 24 and 25, Township 12, S.R. 12 E. We will procure and forward to you a copy of the charter of the Banks Realty Company.
