Transcript | Front of envelope Mr James A Smyth South Woodslee Essex County Ontario Canada Handwritten Oct 1891 Back of envelope POSTMARK South Woodslee 0[?] 9 [?] ONT Straughroy Sept 6th 1891 Dear Cousin I write to you these few lines to let you know that we are all Well hoping this will find you in the same I thank you very much for your picture it is well taken I shall send ours in the next letter. Tilda & Maggie Duncan was [were?] up one Sunday and she said that you wrote to Joe but he did not answer it and she wondered what was the reason that you did not send them their picture. Bob & Rebecca is [are?] very big friends now but I fell out with him because you could not be bothered with him for no matter where you would go he could hear it and then tell it to every body [everybody?] Lizzie & me and some others went to Barons court one Sunday and stopped in Tilda's and they went & told down in the Plum [Plumbridge?] about us and Bob [F.?] came at me in Newtownstewart Fair about it that was the time me & him fell out as if nobody was as good as him running down every body [everybody?] Dear Cousin I am going to plumbridge for a week or so and I will not speak to any of them I will stay in your Fathers and I will have a good time I am sure. Mrs Elkin said that that (sic) the last time that Lizzie was down that Lizzie should a [have?] said that she was not out at Meeting for half a year and Mrs Elkin went and told your mother, thats the way they tell lies so wait till [until?] Lizzie goes down again she will rise a row with Mrs Elkin I believe I have no more to say at present only remains your fond cousin Bella.
