Dear James,
Just a few lines to let you
know we are well hoping this will find
you all the same, we had a letter from
Bella today she was telling us about
so many being sick with the Flu it
was pretty bad here too. I hope Willie John
is getting better as I think by Bella's
letter he was the worst. I must thank
you very much for sending me the
Telegram about my Fathers Death I suppose
only for you or Bella I would never heard
anything about it. for my sisters I am sure
they would not let me know. Bella
was telling us in her letter that he
left the land to Maggie well I wish
her luck that is all I will say. I am
sorry now that I stayed there so long.

but all the same if I could get a little
Farm I would go back again, this place is
alright so long as everything goes well but
when one gets sick it is not so good. I got
hurt at the City Dairy nearly three weeks
ago and I tell you that is when you see
the difference nobody but strangers to speak
to makes one feel worse still. how is Bob
Campbell doing I am surprised at him I wrote
three letters to him and he never answered one
of them. well James I would like you would let
me know if there is any Farm aroud [around?] there
that might soon be sold I am sure that some
of them will soon have to let go, I can think
of nothing more now James so I must stop
for the present

Goodbye with best respects
From Andrew Dunn
