Transcript | To Mr W.G. Smith Carrickmacross Ireland From: Lpool [Liverpool?] 9 March 1847 Mr W.G. Smith Sir, A steady N'Easterly [northeasterly?] wind keepes [keeps?]many ships out of our Port and leaves us in suspense here Not being able to name ships for Quebec till a change takes place. However there is little fear but vessels will be ready by the proper time first week in April. Terms will be high not less than £3- for adults & half price for children.
